Assistant Account Executive, Digital Programmatic

The Assistant Account Executive, Digital Programmatic is the foundation of a fast paced, solutions-oriented team. As a Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director of Programmatic and Partnerships and the programmatic Account Managers to own the success of programmatic advertising campaigns. This role's responsibilities include setting up and optimizing programmatic media campaigns, troubleshooting campaign issues related to pacing, performance, and margin. The coordinator will learn to use multiple programmatic platforms, develop an understanding of the digital media industry, and become an expert in analysing data to make data-driven decisions and use insights to help provide tactical recommendations to clients. Your Impact

  • Assist with the setup and launch of campaigns in the media buying platforms (DSPs)
  • Proactively optimize campaigns for maximum performance and delivery
  • Monitor campaign pacing and issue periodic projection analyses and reallocation recommendations
  • Communicate thoroughly, respond rapidly, and escalate urgent matters to senior support
  • Assist with campaign analytics, derive insights from data, and contribute strategic recommendations to improve campaign performance and pacing
  • Collaborate with various internal teams including Ad Ops, Analytics, Partnerships, Technology, and Creative Services to deliver campaigns
  • Continually contribute to the knowledge sharing culture of the trading team
  • Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, workshops and current events
  • Provide data-backed actionable insights for campaign optimization notes

Your Qualifications

  • Interest in the online/digital experience, ideally with a focus on Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), Real-Time Buying (RTB), Ad Exchanges, Self-Service Social Advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), and/or other ad serving platforms
  • Keen interest in digital media and advertising landscape, including key technologies, business models, ad products, and industry standard metrics
  • Analytical aptitude and strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Quick learner who loves to pick up new tools for reporting and analysis
  • Proactive; can troubleshoot technical issues through to resolution
  • Intelligent, entrepreneurial type with strong technical acumen
  • Effective communicator and collaborator
  • Enthusiasm and focus to learn quickly and develop skills
  • Media planning/buying experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel a plus
  • SQL, HTML experience a plus
