Ad Operations Specialist

Role Overview:

 As the Ad Operations Specialist you will be responsible for trafficking digital media channels, mainly digital out of home (DOOH). You will be responsible for building and launching DOOH campaigns and monitoring delivery to perform necessary optimizations and reporting as needed through our DSP. You will also be responsible for liaising with creative agencies.

 Working closely with a team of Account Managers and Digital Media Planners, you will ensure effective delivery of digital media plans and drive the day-to-day execution of DOOH ad delivery to meet client expectations for a broad spectrum of advertiser accounts.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign set-up and execution in the DSP
  • Assist Accounts team in building proposals by building test scenarios in the DSP
  • Ensure ad creative adheres to technical specifications and troubleshoot creative issues that affect delivery
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure the proper set-up and deployment of campaigns
  • Liaise with the digital account team to ensure accurate reporting, optimization and fulfillment of campaign delivery
  • Maintain records of spend and other internal documents that track proposals and campaign execution
  • Use best practices to pace budget and optimize for performance where necessary
  • Perform reconciliations between media plans and 3rd party ad delivery
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to quickly resolve technical issues
  • Identify opportunities to implement solutions that increase effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Additional projects and tasks supporting the Ad Operations team where required

 What You Bring:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in digital trafficking at a media agency
  • A fast learner; has ability to become adept with a new DSP rather quickly
  • Comfort with Microsoft Excel and ability to consolidate information and work with multiple data points (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, are a must)
  • Experience in OOH or DOOH is a bonus
  • Superior attention to detail, organizational aptitude, and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate technical/product information to both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Capable of working well in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
