Senior Account Executive - Los Angeles
Role

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing the day-to-day account activities with guidance from management.  This role is responsible for creating and implementing Out-of-Home media recommendations. Heavy emphasis on account and client services, with opportunities to incorporate unique creative executions, production and non-traditional media.

Ideal candidates are proactive strategic thinkers, detail-orientated and creative minds with excellent communications skills (both written and oral).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of campaign programs and/or budgets
  • Prepare and communicate all planning documentation in accordance with planning process, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare/ review and issue Media Authorization
  • Develop and deliver all or parts of client presentations
  • Contributes to forecasts used by senior management to develop business plans for the office and agency
  • Review Data for and prepare case studies
  • Assist with building business on assigned accounts, as well as identifying and pursing new business development opportunities, as appropriate
  • Implement approved media plans
  • Resolve vendor discrepancies
  • Conduct vendor negotiations
  • May provide guidance and assistance to lower level associates and other functional areas
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Identify and track client issues
  • Review all client documents to ensure accuracy

Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration or communication
  • 3 -5 years’ experience with media planning in an advertising organization
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, maturity, credibility, confidence and integrity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, with strong focus on teamwork.
